US base Apple Company and South Korean Electronic Company Samsung have been on the rush hour to launch their new Smartphone (iPhone 6 and Galaxy S5 respectively).However, which one is favorite Smartphone – Galaxy S5 or Apple iPhone 6. It is your choice – Whether Samsung or iPhone. Samsung Galaxy is the world’s leading Electronic Company and taking largest (more than 30% Smartphone’s worldwide market) market share of Smartphone. On the other hand Apple is also taking place second largest (at least 13% Smartphone’s worldwide market) market share of Smartphone.

The interesting thing is there that Apple and Samsung are on the battleground for patent war. Both companies are blaming each other for unauthorized use of patent right. Apple blamed that South African Electronic Company – Samsung infringed more than 26 Apple’s patent. This happened because of the growing market of Smartphone and both companies are aware to protect their Intellectual Property Right (IPR). Samsung use open sources operating system – Google Android jellybean (156 millions users) to its Galaxy series. Alternatively, Apple has been using iOS operating system to its iPhone series.  Both companies also are aware for market reputation and aggressive to empower their marketing strategy.

The market coverage and sales volume ratio of Galaxy is higher than iPhone 6. Apple has been losing its market share – previous year market share was 16.6 % and this year is only 13% (3.6 % less than previous year). On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy has been capturing its marketplace by 30% of world’s Smartphone market. There are several reasons for empowering of market share of Galaxy and losing of market share of Apple.
